To get the Duplexer, follow the train tracks south of Top of the World to reach a train crash location called 98 NAR Regional. Head inside then up to the cockpit where you can find the Transponder in a panel on the wall. Battle your way to the top of the cliff, where you will find the wreckage of the plane's nose. When you arrive you will find a tower guarded by Super Mutants. To get the Transponder, head southeast of Greg's Mine Supply towards Horizon's Rest, the airplane wreckage you see on the world map. To craft the Signal Repeater you will need two special materials detailed in the schematic: one RCX01-A39 Duplexer and one SMU-97 Transponder. Kill it for some extra loot before you leave. There is also a chance that a Diseased Honey Beast will spawn near the Red Rocket next to the visitor center. Loot him to obtain the Signal Repeater Schematic. Head up to the second floor where you will find the body of Major Darion Jones. When you arrive head to the buildings backside and do battle with the small army of Scorched located there. Begin by heading toward the Seneca Rocks Visitor Center located northeast of Top of the World. To do this you need to craft a Signal Repeater and install it in the radio array. With the recent update: It appears that enemies now scale to your level so I think this should be accessible for just about any level of player (Although obviously higher level players will likely have access to better equipment, making it somewhat easier). In order to gain Rose's trust you need to help her expand her radio broadcast's range. From there it's your typical quest: you grab some items occasionally and go from A to B, grinding out some enemies in between. Once you have completed Reassembly Required: Coming to Fruition will automatically begin. The reason for this is because you don't unlock the Raider cache where the uplink is until after you "gain her trust". Coming to Fruition is a quest that is part of the whole "Missing Link" questline. ![]()

The real Viktor Navorski, a displaced Iranian named Merhan Karimi Nasseri, was stuck in Charles De Gaulle Airport for over seven years before the two European governments made any attempt to resolve his situation. What they will likely not learn much about are the real hard-hearted villains in the "Viktor Navorski Story." You see, for all the evil legalism embodied by Tucci, the pigheaded bureaucracy that provided the inspiration for this film stemmed not from the US Department of Homeland Security, but from Belgium and France's refugee-wary immigration authorities. Those audience members inclined to phobia over the Patriot Act will no doubt see this plot (and Tucci's character) as a ringing indictment of both it and the agency Tom Ridge heads. When Dixon insists on taking medication away from a man who needs it for a dying father, it is Viktor who finds a loophole in the security system that will allow the foreigner to return home with the life-saving drugs. Viktor represents kindness and reason, Dixon, the rigid legalism that is so obsessed with security it can't see people for regulation. He sets his jaw, and offers a simple, "I wait." And wait he does, willing to endure any humiliation the Department of Homeland Security can dish out, including blocking his means to purchase food for himself. Even when he is literally invited by top dog Tucci to break the law by sneaking out the sliding glass doors that lead to freedom, Navorski refuses to circumvent regulation. No matter where he is, Viktor maintains a high standard of morality and compassion, and this wins him a loyal fan base of employees throughout the airport. With little else to do as he watches other people's flights come and go, Viktor sets up a make-shift home in the crack he has fallen into.ĭespite its grounding in semi-reality, there remains something fantastic about this story. ![]() His only choice is to linger in the terminal and hope that peace will soon return to his war-torn homeland. With a passport from a government that no longer exists, Viktor cannot enter the US and he cannot board a flight for home. Or, as the maniacally ambitious airport head of Homeland Security Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci) explains it, Viktor is "unacceptable" to any nation. Tom Hanks stars as Viktor Navorski, an international traveler who lands at New York's JFK Airport only to find that a bloody coup in his fictional Slavic homeland of Krakozhia has rendered him stateless. ![]() These will be people, of course, who have themselves never held a federal position and taken it as part of their job description to make people wait longer than is ever humanly necessary. ![]() They might, as reasonable people, be tempted to dismiss the idea that any bureaucracy could be so inflexible as to leave a man floundering in airport limbo for nearly a year. This tidbit has much bearing on the enjoyment of the film as the average movie-going citizen might find the premise of an innocent tourist so victimized by governmental red tape implausible. Rather, it is the fact that not only is the story of Viktor Navorski, a man trapped in JFK airport for nine months, loosely based on a true story, but that the actual airport refugee has been confined to a single terminal for over ten years. And it's not that Spielberg breaks a cardinal rule of the summer "feel good" flick yet nevertheless leaves the audience feeling great. The most surprising thing about "The Terminal," the new film that reunites cinematic Dream Team Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks is not that it relies on good-hearted wit, good acting, and a story that highlights simple human goodness to entertain. ![]() ![]() ![]() Referral Bonus Program - earn up to $200 per referral 401(k) / Roth IRA eligibility with company match Enrollment options in a Flexible Spending account, Health Savings account, Hospital Indemnity insurance, Accident coverage, MetLaw, and Critical Illness insurance Eligibility for affordable Health, Vision, and Dental insurance (waiting period may apply) Completion of criminal history record check. The levels in Maquette are all quite unique and often reflect the tone of the underlying story. Even for those who do not relate, it is a nice little story to follow you on your puzzle-solving adventure. The story is more than likely going to pull at the heartstrings for those who have had a relatable experience in life. Puzzles are at the core of this game but to entertain you throughout the experience is a nice little narrative about a relationship between a young couple. It serves as a seed of doubt that makes you wonder whether the puzzle is bugged or whether you are just missing something when you get stuck in future. Even if it is the intended solution, it’s a pretty awful solution to design into a game like this. A solution to the puzzle is possible but it feels like it was an unintended solution based on how tricky it is to pull it off. There were a few instances, with one real stand out puzzle with a green and red crystal that felt wrong. ![]() When it comes to complex puzzles, the solution should never be obvious but also solvable. ![]() The satisfaction you get when you make the key supersized and completely bypass the gate is incredibly satisfying Drop this key against the wall on the small model and you have a ramp to climb over the wall in the full-sized world! What you will soon figure out is that if you drop this rather large, tennis racket sized key onto the small model of the level, a super large key will fall from the sky in the world you are standing in. One puzzle that really stood out early on is a door that has a lock and you have a key. The levels are relatively small compared to other similar games but they are packed with so much ingenuity that you will be more than satisfied with the challenges you are faced with. From the moment you solve the first puzzle where you need to increase the size of an object by dropping it between the larger and smaller world, you will be hooked and eager to find out what else the game has in store for you. Maquette presents you with such an unusual mechanic that you will need to completely alter your approach to solving puzzles in order to make it through this game. ![]() If you are an avid fan of puzzle games, you will find that it is not very often you are stumped by a puzzle. Interacting with the model in some way, such as dropping a block, will result in that block also being dropped, super-sized, in the larger world. You essentially have a small model that is a replica of the world you are in. Maquette serves you up a very unique prospect which the developers describe as a “recursive world”. First-person puzzle games are a dime a dozen these days making it very hard for a game to stand out. ![]() |
